Our story began as a small, family-owned business founded in Yorkshire, and we still remain true to our roots today. The same family and our locally based team create mattresses with inspiration drawn from the beautiful landscapes, traditions, and people that surround us. 

Boasting a rich history of mattress production, our Yorkshire home gives us a connection to British bed-making that we are incredibly proud of. We combine handed-down knowledge with modern techniques, allowing us to continually improve and develop a craft that has been built over generations. 

Duvalay is a first-generation family business, founded by Elizabeth and Alan Colleran in 2003 and today led alongside their sons, William and Thomas.
